Sublime cycling in the gentle uplands
The delightful landscape of Eastern Styria offers ideal conditions for you to enjoy memorable bike rides. A cycling map of the region helps you to get your bearings, and we can also give you hints about the more interesting routes! Bikes are available during your stay for free. In addition, we have children’s bikes in various sizes as well as bikes with child seats. We also hire out e-bikes for a fee, allowing you to effortlessly explore the rolling hills.
Hiking and nordic walking
Wonderful walks begin right at our front door: the trails take you past orchards, charming farms and rolling hills. A map of the routes as well as hiking poles are available. Guided hikes make for a great outdoor experience of Eastern Styria and are rounded off with a picnic or a visit to a traditional wine tavern. Carefully selected and signposted hiking trails offer you a healthy opportunity to explore the apple growing region, with or without professional guidance. We can provide Nordic walking poles and pulse monitors to meet your specific training Needs.
The joys of swimming and relaxation
In the period from March to early November, as well as over the Christmas holidays, we offer our guests heated indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool and a paddling pool. You can relax on loungers and heated benches in the conservatory. What’s more, Lake Stubenberg is close by and there are six swimming baths within a radius of 12-40 km. The hotel’s Apple Blossom Spa and the spa centres in the thermal springs are a source of deep relaxation during your stay.
Tennis courts
Two clay courts with floodlighting are at the disposal of our guests for no extra cost. We also hire out tennis rackets and balls for free. Mums and Dads can confidently pursue their love of the game while their children are affectionately looked after at the kids’ Lufti Club. Thanks to the acoustic baby monitoring system in the rooms, a tennis holiday with an infant isn’t a problem at all.
Beachvolleyball
Naturally, use of the hotel’s beach volleyball court is also free for our guests. The volleyball itself is available from the front desk.
Pit Pat
Pit-Pat is a combination of minigolf and pool, and a fun game for the whole family. The course is right in front of the hotel and you can pick up the necessary equipment from the front desk for EUR 1.50 per person.
